GRP Handrail System:
Our round tube GRP Handrail system is supplied complete with all fittings. For safety critical applications the product has been tested and approved to safety standards BS EN ISO 14122-3:2001 & BS 6399-1:1996. It is designed to offer a cost effective alternative to expensive stainless or galvanised steel when used in new build or refurbishment projects.
Available in high visibility safety yellow or steel grey, GRP Handrail provides all the advantages of lightweight, high strength and durability, coupled with a corrosion resistant, non conductive, maintenance free, 20 year lifespan.
The rail is manufactured from polyester resin by a process of pultrusion with a surface veil. The associated fittings are made by casting.
It provides worker or general public safety in a wide variety all exposed locations throughout industry or public access areas e.g. loading bays, walkways, guarding around machinery etc.
Fibreglass Open Mesh Grating, often referred to as GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) Grating or FRP (Fibre Reinforced Plastic) Grating, represents an effective alternative to conventional floor grating manufactured from Galvanised or stainless Steel.
Open Mesh Grating:
Fibreglass Floor Grating provides superior corrossion resistance when compared to traditional Galvanised Steel Grating, and provides real cost savings when compared to Stainless Steel. A durable and hardwearing angular Quartz Grit is applied to the top surface to provide an effective Anti Slip finish, which provides an excellent level of slip resistance in WET, OILY or ICY conditions.
